TCU Horned Frogs QB and Heisman Trophy finalist, Max Duggan joins Dan Patrick on The Dan Patrick Show. He stays disappointingly politically correct when Dan asks him if he thinks he should win the Heisman Trophy. And while he is certainly disappointed at losing the Big 12 Conference Championship, he’s excited about securing a spot in the College Football Playoff. They also talk about having heart surgery during the height of the COVID pandemic and thinking he might never get back on the field. And finally, he remains tight-lipped about what he will be wearing at the Heisman Trophy Ceremony.

Dan Patrick: “Did you know if you could play football?”

Max Duggan: “Initially I thought when they say you have a heart issue and it’s pretty serious, you’re going to have to have surgery, I thought football was probably over...”
