Today on The Jason Smith Show with Mike Harmon, Jason and Mike react to Cowboys owner Jerry Jones telling USA Today that Free Agent Odell Beckham Jr is going to sign with the Cowboys. The guys tell you why Jerry needs to back off and enjoy the Cowboys' winning without the backdrop of controversy as the team heads into the postseason.
Jason Smith: “Jerry Jones has not found way to make headlines while the Cowboys are winning and saying Odell Beckham Jr is going to sign is his way to do it. He can’t stand the fact that he’s not at the crux, so now he’s going to insert himself this way. He can’t just let the Cowboys win, and he always has to have it be Jerry Jones and the Cowboys. Stop treating Odell like he’s the savior!"
Mike Harmon: “If he wanted to puff his chest, he could talk about all the successful draft picks that have hit, all the signings, and extensions and everything he’s done to make this team what it is right now!”
