It was announced on Monday that Eagles QB Jalen Hurts suffered a shoulder sprain and could miss this weekend's important divisional game against the Cowboys. Even though the Eagles offense is centered around Jalen Hurts, Ben Maller believes the team will be just fine with Gardner Minshew at the helm.
Ben Maller: "Not only will the Birds be able to tread water but they will also flourish...He has been consistent, he has played on mostly bad teams, and when he's gotten an opportunity, his TD:INT ratio - 41 TDs, 12 INTs. Mike Leach used to preach about this, the most important skill for a QB is not how hard you throw the ball, it's not how quick you run and get out of the pocket, it's all about accuracy and Gardner Minshew has that to infinity and beyond."
