Today on The Odd Couple, Chris Broussard and Rob Parker react to fans wanting Bill Belichick out as head coach of the New England Patriots. Rumblings are that if Robert Kraft wanted a change at head coach, Belichick wouldn’t be fired but would be available to be hired away for fair compensation for the 6x Super Bowl champion!
Chris Broussard: “The notion of firing Bill Belichick is untenable. The guy has six championships. That said, I do feel like Robert Kraft has to sit down with Belichick at the end of this season and the discussion should be like, 'Bill...we need new offensive coaching.' If he refuses to budge, Kraft might be in a tough situation.”
Rob Parker: “I just don’t think he’ll be fired. If you’re the Patriots and you let Belichick go, you have to be ready. People forget how terrible the Patriots were and Belichick turned things around!”
