Thursday on 2 Pros and a Cup of Joe, Jonas Knox, Brady Quinn and LaVar Arrington react to National Signing Day and point out issues with the changing landscape in college football when it comes to the early signing period, the transfer portal and NIL.

Brady Quinn: "Everyone thinks that NIL has changed the game of college football. It has not. It's the portal. The unlimited ability to transfer in the portal, combined with NIL, the ability to profit off your name, image and likeness has now opened the door for coaches to tamper."
LaVar Arrington: "It is creating a logjam of sorts at the college level and it's pretty scary because you don't have the natural flow from college to pro, from high school to college. It's very different."
Brady Quinn: "The problem is the order is messed up. It really should be the early signing period after that portal window, but the problem is you have this portal window that has to be somewhere after the Bowls. Otherwise, you'd have this mass exodus of rosters that only have 35,40, 50 scholarship players. So, it's the timing of all this and how they've implemented it. They just don't have strong leadership and a strong overseeing body to help formulate some of this stuff and how it should really operate and work."
