Quarterback Stetson Bennett led the Georgia Bulldogs to their second straight College Football National Championship in Los Angeles last night and cemented himself as one of the great college quarterbacks of all-time. And while it’s natural to project his chances of being successful in the NFL, Dan just wants to enjoy what he saw from him last night and appreciate his incredible college career. There’s nothing wrong with being mentioned in the same sentence as one of the greatest college football players ever even if his NFL prospects don’t look great.
Dan Patrick: “He’s firmly cemented himself as one of the great college quarterbacks of all-time. He is Georgia’s (Tim) Tebow...I know that we love to go, ‘Well, is he going to be any good in the NFL?’ I don’t know. I just love what I saw!”
