Los Angeles Chargers WR Mike Williams will be out for 2-3 weeks with a fracture in his back and Doug Gottlieb is putting the blame directly on Head Coach Brandon Staley. With Williams’ injury history, Staley should have been more cognizant of his fragility. It may seem like an unavoidable, freak injury but this is Mike Williams we are talking about, a guy who once injured himself running into a goalpost.
Doug Gottlieb: “Honestly, playing Mike Williams at all, let alone playing him as long as they played him, that’s gross roster mismanagement. It just is...he’s been a little snake-bit with some injuries.”
