Rob Parker: LeBron James' Numbers are Fraudulent

Chris Broussard: “We know LeBron is going to get 46 points if he’s making 9 of 14 three’s a night. I agree with you Rob that it’s easier to score in the NBA than it ever was but LeBron is only one of six guys in the league scoring 30+ points so I’m not going to poo-poo what he’s doing! This would be the third highest scoring average of his career and 51% from the floor, his numbers are off the charts. Although, LeBron is not in his prime. In his prime, he could’ve taken any team to the finals, he could’ve take any four of our callers and taken them to the playoffs. Here’s the thing though, we’ve never seen a guy in their 20th season placing these types of numbers...”
Rob Parker: “LeBron may be leading the team in scoring but they’re not going to make the playoffs! If he scored 46 points and they beat the Clippers and they went on a winning streak, I would get it but stop it, they lost. LeBron doesn’t impact winning. I’m not mad at him, it’s the easiest to score in the NBA than it ever has been. I don’t think his numbers matter, they didn’t even make the playoffs for the past couple of seasons, I am not impressed.”

Tonight on The Odd Couple, Chris and Rob debate whether LeBron James 30 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assist, and shooting 51% from the field this season is impressive. Chris believes that LeBron’s numbers are extremely impressive for a man who is in his 20th season, while Rob thinks that LBJs numbers are fraudulent and don’t mean anything because the Laker’s aren’t winning.
