Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James scored 38 points last night on the way to breaking Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s all-time NBA career scoring record despite a loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Dan Patrick couldn’t help but be impressed and thinks anybody who couldn’t take a moment to appreciate LeBron’s accomplishment last night is delusional. The expectations on King James from a young age were set impossibly high and yet he managed to surpass them making his greatness undeniable.
Dan Patrick: “We normally have conversations, we have dialogue, we have opinions about LeBron James; where he stands, if it’s (Michael) Jordan, if it’s Bill Russell, whoever else you want to throw in there. This is different. This isn’t opinion, this is fact. And if you can’t take 10 minutes out of your day, or last night, to just appreciate what you saw then it’s on you, not LeBron James. You can dislike him today if you want to, but take 10 minutes to just appreciate what he did. This is greatness from start to finish.”
