Even though Derek Carr is an attractive option for quarterback needy teams like the Panthers, 2 Pros and a Cup of Joe believe some are willing to forgo signing a veteran QB this year in order to position themselves to land a franchise player like Caleb Williams or Drake Maye in next year's NFL Draft.
