Rob Parker: “I just don’t believe that the Packers believe in Jordan Love, and I think that’s the scary part as a franchise. They did drafted, spent a first round pick and he hasn’t played football in quite a while now, and I’m not convinced. I think this is the first time the Packers are flying without a net. When they moved on from Brett Favre, they really believe they had something with Aaron Rodgers and I don’t believe that’s the case with Jordan Love... The time to trade Aaron Rodgers was prior to him coming back and winning 2 MVPs.”
Chris Broussard: “Right now, the Packers have to pay a heck of a dead cap for Aaron Rodgers... I think they believe in Jordan Love because of their willingness to do that. The little bit he played last year, he looked pretty good but it’s a small sample size. You are right, Rob, because if they traded him 2-3 years ago, they would’ve gotten much more of a haul. But, he won 2 MVPs between that time.”
Chris Broussard and Rob Parker analyze Aaron Rodgers’ decision to play for the Jets from the perspective of the Green Bay Packers. Do the Packers really believe in Jordan Love? Or are they just tired and ready to move on from Aaron Rodgers that much? Listen to the full segment above!
