Chris Broussard: “I said I was hoping it wouldn’t be a blowout. It was the next worst thing to a blowout... UConn got up to a double digit lead early and it stayed there for the most part. It was never in question that UConn wasn’t going to win, there was maybe a moment. I do think UConn is a Blue Blood now. Right now there is a feeling there are six teams in this group, I think UConn is without question is a Blue Blood. They have 5 championships in the last 25 years.”
Rob Parker: “It ended up being a 17 point loss and they beat every team by a good amount. I’m not surprised by this result at all. I don’t think this team is one of the best teams of all time, I get it they dominated but their road wasn’t that impressive. I’m not knocking them but it is true. I could not disagree with you more. It’s more than the championships. They won it with three different coaches, and Blue Bloods are about long history within a program.”

Tonight on The Odd Couple, Chris & Rob recap the UConn smack down on SDSU last night. Chris believes that last night’s game was the closest thing to a blowout, Rob agreeing that there was never a point where SDSU had a real shot.  Chris thinks UConn is now considered a Blue Blood; staple within College Basketball, while Rob disagrees and came out hard on his reasoning. The guys go back and forth in a new conversation on UConn with great points by both sides!
