The Philadelphia Eagles signed QB Jalen Hurts to a 5-year/$255M extension after he took the squad all the way to the Super Bowl last season. Doug wasn’t sold on Hurts when he came into the league but is now changing his tune. While he still doesn’t consider Hurts to be a top 5, or even top 10 quarterback in the league, he admits that the kid is better than he originally thought. Moreover, Hurts has the charisma, skills and character to lead any NFL team.
Doug Gottlieb: “I still am not like a Jalen Hurts top 5, top 10 quarterback guy but I’m OK saying I was wrong about Jalen Hurts...He’s clearly good enough, and he’s clearly a solid dude, and the players clearly love him...and now you gotta pay him.”
