The #1 seeded Milwaukee Bucks were ousted form the NBA Playoffs by the 8th seeded Miami Heat and superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo faced some pointed questions when he faced the media after the game. Dan was impressed with how he handled the loss, especially addressing a question about whether he considered this season to be a failure. The Greek Freak doesn’t believe in failure, only steps to success, but it certainly was disappointing.
Dan Patrick: “When you say ‘failure,’ it has a different context to it. It feels heavier. It feels more pointed. How disappointed are you? You know, he’s playing with a bad back. He put up what, 38 and 20? It’s a disappointment. Did you fail? History won’t be kind to you. But they won’t pile on like they would other franchises. If this happened to LeBron then it would be a terrible failure.”
