Today on 2 Pros and a Cup of Joe, Jonas Knox, Brady Quinn and LaVar Arrington react to Raiders WR Davante Adams telling The Ringer that by getting first team All-Pro last season with Las Vegas, it proved that "he didn’t need Aaron Rodgers.”
Jonas Knox: "Feels like that's kind of out of the blue for some reason he decided he wanted to make that clear..."
Brady Quinn: "It's convenient to say that now and he's right, he doesn't need Aaron Rodgers to be a Hall of Fame wide receiver... but it's odd he would pick a time to say this now. Is he frustrated? Is he upset at the fact that maybe there was a chance Rodgers was going to Vegas but it ended up being the Jets he decided to go to? It seems like Rodgers caught a stray for no reason."
LaVar Arrington: "When a dude is ultra competitive and they compete at the level that Davante Adams competes at, the one thing you never want is for someone to try and qualify your greatness... It may come across as unsolicited but this is something that's been provoked."
