College World Series Championship Game Was a Rare MLB Draft Preview

LSU routed Florida to win the College World Series in Omaha by a score of 18-4 in the deciding game last night. It’s the fourth straight title out of the SEC where they are more invested in college sports than the majority of the country so it’s no surprise to see them on top yet again. What was surprising is that the potential first three MLB Draft picks were playing last night considering those spots are normally reserved for players straight out of high school.

Dan Patrick: “It’s rare to have maybe the top three draft picks playing in the College World Series because normally they’re coming out of high school.”
