HBO’s NFL Training Camp series “Hard Knocks” debuted last night featuring the New York Jets and it was all kittens and rainbows for Aaron Rodgers. Dan Beyer & Aaron Torres, filling in for Doug Gottlieb today, found it to be more of a fluff piece than the hard hitting documentary it purports to be. It feels like the NFL is using the show to rehabilitate Aaron Rodgers’ public image after he wore out his welcome in Green Bay.
Dan Beyer: “The NFL, in their main training camp machine of Hard Knocks, really put forth an effort to make sure Aaron Rodgers was put in a good light.”
Aaron Torres: “Remember, the Jets are interesting outside of Aaron Rodgers!"
