Rob Parker: “That Suns team was so good. You guys won so many games. Is there a part of you that feels like you guys let a golden opportunity slide away, never got one championship with all the great players who played there?”
Shawn Marion: “You know, I wish we could have won one, man. At times, I felt like we could have won, we just fell short. Man, you know, things happen. Some things are in your control and some things are not in your control. With that being said, you know a lot of things gotta go right for you, a lot of things gotta be clicking on all cylinders, and unfortunately it wasn’t for us.”

On this edition of The Odd Couple, Chris Broussard and Rob Parker were joined by NBA Champion & multi-time All Star Shawn Marion, after it was announced that the Phoenix Suns would be retiring his jersey number. He offered his thoughts on not winning a title in Phoenix, the Mavericks title win over LeBron and the Heat, and more!
