Dan Patrick: Fans on the Field Need to Be Taken Down

In a scary scene last night, two fans ran out onto Coors Field in Colorado during the Rockies game last night, apparently to get a selfie with Atlanta Braves OF Ronald Acuña Jr. Security stepped in and nobody was hurt but questions remain about the amount of force appropriate to the incident. Dan thinks we need to establish boundaries because you have no idea what their intentions are, and it is better to be safe than sorry.

Dan Patrick: “I just think you have to establish boundaries there to just say, ‘Nope! Nope. If you come out, we’re going to put you on the ground because we do not know who you are and you shouldn’t be out here in the first place!’ Because (Ronald) Acuña has no idea what’s going on...Now, do you take somebody out, you know, with a flying clothesline tackle and stuff? I know sometimes it doesn’t call for that but in a situation like this, I would take him down and take him out.”
