Jonas Knox: “There is some speculation and conspiracy that the Cardinals are in the ‘Caleb Williams sweepstakes.’ They moved on from reliable vet Colt McCoy, and there’s some thought that this could be a subtle way to, not ‘tank,’ but to put yourself in a position to succeed, if succeeding is getting the first overall pick in next year’s draft... I believe the Arizona Cardinals may not win a football game until at least November.”
LaVar Arrington: “Dobbs could be the answer short-term, and their opponents in Washington also have questions at QB as well.... I think it’s safe to assume things are not going to go well in Arizona this year. Even if Kyler Murray was in, I’m not even a 100% sure that their season being successful.”
