Los Angeles Rams QB Matthew Stafford’s wife, Kelly Stafford put her foot in her mouth earlier this week by sharing the struggle her husband is having connecting to younger players on the team and yesterday she apologized and walked her comments back. Doug thinks her apology only shined a spotlight on her comments which she probably didn’t need to apologize for in the first place.
Doug Gottlieb: “I don’t think (Kelly Stafford) needed a pass. I don’t think what she said was all that bad. But by bringing it up and by acting like she has to apologize and walk it back...you’re like, ‘Why was it so bad?’”
