Future NFL Hall of Fame DE and current analyst, JJ Watt joins Dan Patrick on The Dan Patrick Show. Dan asks JJ to don his new analyst hat and answer a few questions about the league now that he is no longer on the field. And while he still feels the urge to hop on the field and hit somebody, he says he is really looking forward to just watching games and has plans to head to Pittsburgh and watch his brother TJ play for the Pittsburgh Steelers. And he weighs in on the idea of a 2-way player like Colorado’s Travis Hunter being effective in the NFL.
Dan Patrick: “What are you going to do on Sundays now...?”
JJ Watt: “...I’ve really enjoyed opening up and looking around the league and seeing what everybody does. It’s going to be fun. Obviously, I’m doing some stuff for CBS this fall but I’m also going to have some Sundays open where I just sit on the couch and watch the games. And I’m going to go up to Pittsburgh and see TJ (Watt) play and it’s going to be a lot of fun.”
