Brock Purdy is a Front-Runner for MVP

Dan Patrick: "The MVP usually comes from one of the top-two seeds in each conference. It's a quarterback award. That does bode well for Brock Purdy. You're looking at the quarterbacks - it will be Purdy, Jalen Hurts, Patrick Mahomes, Tua Tagovailoa. Brock Purdy is first in completion percentage, first in TD-to-interception ratio, second in yards-per-pass attempt, third in passing yards, first in team margin of victory. And you have a bargain here. So, I factor in his salary, how he's playing, covers up for the Trey Lance mess, and they're the best team right now. And it looks like the NFC is probably going to go through San Francisco."

Dan Patrick reacts to the 49ers' commanding victory over the Cowboys on Sunday night. Dan praises the efforts of Brock Purdy, and explains how his stats, intangibles, and contract value all play into why he should be seen as one of the front-runners for MVP thus far this season. Plus, Dan examines the Cowboys' side of the loss and looks at what the performance means for Dak Prescott.
