Rob Parker: “Over the last 3 weeks, Jordan Love has a 57.7 passer rating. Only Mac Jones, who’s been God awful, is worse at 55.4! On the season, Love is the 28th passer in the league, 25th in QBR, 33rd in completion percentage, and 2nd in interceptions. Last night, Love was just 3 for 11 with no touchdowns and 3 picks on passes beyond 5 yards! On the season, he’s 14 for 32, no touchdowns, 5 interceptions on passes beyond 5 yards...I think this is why the Packers paused on moving Aaron Rodgers when they had a chance to trade him for some pieces...”
Chris Broussard: “...lets keep it real, the Packers didn’t have to get rid of Aaron Rodgers this year! Rodgers wanted to come back, they were ready to move on from Aaron Rodgers, so I don’t agree with your whole thesis that they didn’t show any belief in Jordan Love...how could you sign him to a long term extension, they haven’t seen him play?”
On today’s edition of The Odd Couple, Chris Broussard and Rob Parker debated the Packers process around naming QB Jordan Love as Aaron Rodgers successor and his performance as a starter this year, with Rob saying that all signs point to Jordan Love not being the guy in Green Bay!
