Carolina Panthers Head Coach, Frank Reich had a press conference yesterday that Dan Patrick could only describe with one word...painful. As the situation continues to unravel, it’s becoming clear that billionaire owner David Tepper is meddling in the football operations, including the drafting of QB Bryce Young over CJ Stroud, and it has put Reich in an awkward position as they remain the only winless team in the NFL this season.
Dan Patrick: “I’ll give you the word to describe Frank Reich’s press conference there, his comments...It was painful. Because Frank Reich has been around for a long, long time and has a pretty good resume. And then you take this job, and then here we are 5/6 weeks into the season and we’re already starting to point the finger.”
