The NFL started a firestorm when they repeated showed Los Angeles Chargers “superfan” Merrianne Do during their broadcast of the Monday night game. She has become a figure of controversy as the media and fans alike try to determine if she was planted by the NFL for the cameras, or she’s somehow not really a true Chargers fan to begin with, or her over-the-top reactions were somehow disingenuous. Dan Beyer & Kerry Rhodes, in for Doug Gottlieb, think it’s ridiculous that now she has to defend herself against these unfounded criticisms and conspiracy theories.
Dan Beyer: “Whether it be the Vikings, or whether it be the Chargers...that’s the way that she responds and she shouldn’t have to apologize for that.”
Kerry Rhodes: “100%! Because I would be in trouble if there was a camera on me in my house!”
