One of the biggest headlines coming into the NBA season is the international phenom and #1 overall pick Victor Wembanyamas career predictions and outlook. With so much noise revolving the stud coming out of France, Chris Broussard and Rob Parker help you debate whether or not he is a top 5 skilled player in the NBA and if his career has star potential!

Chris Broussard: “There is no way I think he is a top 5 skilled player in the NBA, there are well over 5 POINTGAURDS that are way more skilled, if you want to say top 5 skilled 7 footer sure. My two main concerns are injuries which for the most part he has not had injury problems or injury history, but my 2nd concern which is my main concern and obviously Greg Popovich is a great coach, but I don’t want to see the man load manage. He’s 19 years old let him play! If they were to load manage him and it becomes a pattern they deserve a call from the league office or something!”
Rob Parker: “I’m not surprised, the guy is a prisoner of the moment and to automatically hes top 5 say without giving me the other 4 in the top 5. I just think you have to be careful people lose credibility when they are so quick to crown people and there is no reason for me to think he won’t be a star, but I really don’t know where he fits in right now. There is a lot of stuff that has to happen for them to be that guy, that’s all I’m saying. I think you have to be real careful but what you can say is, ‘Yeah I like what I see so far and if he gets stronger and continues to stay healthy the sky is the limit!’”
