Despite Their Records, There Are No Losers in this World Series

The Arizona Diamondbacks punched their ticket to the World Series after beating the Philadelphia Phillies on game 7 of the NLCS last night setting up a showdown with the Texas Rangers for all the marbles. While this matchup represents the fewest combined wins of any World Series in history, both of these teams lost over 100 games just two years ago and should be recognized for their rapid turnarounds. Dan and the Danettes discuss this clash of Wildcard teams.

Dan Patrick: “There are no losers in this matchup in my opinion. But two years ago they were losers, that’s for sure...This matchup, you have 174 combined wins, that’s the fewest of any World Series matchup in history.”
