The comparison between Houston Texans rookie QB CJ Stroud and Carolina Panthers rookie QB Bryce Young has just been brutal so far this season, highlighted by yesterday’s performances by both players. They both had historical performances, just on opposite ends of the spectrum, and since the Panthers passed on Stroud in favor of Young, the comparisons are never going away.
Patrick Seton O’Connor: “The CJ Stroud comparisons though, weekly, is just brutal!”
Dan Patrick: “But it’s going to continue! It’s going to continue. The thing is, is CJ Stroud had one of the greatest rookie performances by a quarterback in history, and he does that on the same day as Bryce Young throws a couple of pick sixes.”
