Chris Broussard: "Winning This Tournament Would Add to LeBron's Legacy"

Chris Broussard: "I do think LeBron is trying to accomplish everything he can to try to strengthen his GOAT argument, and I think he may have conceded in his mind that he's not gonna catch Jordan in championships... So I think this is just another pelt to add to his wall... I think years from now [winning the in-season tournament] will mean something. Five years from now, ten years from now, I think it'll be a feather in people's caps... And to be able to say at 38 [LeBron] won the first in-season tournament."

Chris and Rob react to the Lakers victory over the Suns in the quarterfinals of the NBA in-season tournament and debate how much of an impact a tournament victory would have on LeBron James' legacy. Chris thinks that while the Lakers winning wouldn't put LeBron over Michael Jordan in the NBA GOAT debate, it would still be meaningful to his legacy because the tournament itself will be held in higher regard going forward. Rob disagrees and thinks the tournament will be gone within the next few years.
