Jason Smith: The NBA Borrowed the Ja Morant Template for Draymond Green

Jason Smith: “That’s why I’m glad the NBA stepped up because clearly the Warriors didn’t and the NBA most likely gave the Warriors a little bit of time to come up with something but instead... no we’re doing this and we are doing this and now we are outlining a plan for your return.”
Jason Smith: “If I said for a 20 games (suspension)...25 games we’re talking between now and the end of February... I don’t think we are going to see him until then and maybe even longer. I think that Ja Morant is a pretty good template to borrow off of in that here’s a guy who’s had a couple of suspensions, the NBA gave him a decent suspension a warning and he couldn’t do it so here’s 25 games and I think it’s going to be 25 games because Draymond’s got to prove... that he’s got to be able to get himself under control.”

On the latest episode of The Jason Smith Show, Jason Smith and Mike Harmon talked about Draymond Green being suspended indefinitely for striking Jusuf Nurkic. Listen to the full segment above!
