Firing Brandon Staley Was Long Overdue

Chris and Rob react to the Los Angeles Chargers firing head coach Brandon Staley after a historically-bad loss to the Raiders. The guys agree that Staley simply had to go, but Rob thinks this should have happened even sooner -- far sooner.

Chris Broussard: "It was so evident that... emotionally, spiritually, this team just did not believe in their head coach and what he was telling them to go out there and do."

Rob Parker: "How in the world was that the breaking point for an organization that's serious about winning? You're telling me that you finally got moved to make a change [because of a game] when your star franchise quarterback was out, and you were playing the Raiders on the road, who have nothing to play for? That's the game that bothers you? Not when you were up 27-0 against Jacksonville in the postseason [and blew it]? It didn't bother them then, but this meaningless game with Easton Stick at quarterback -- that's the game that bothered them?"
