Jason and Mike react to Florida State's attempted exit of the ACC, and the the legal battle surrounding it. Jason understands Florida State's frustration with being left out of the College Football Playoff, but thinks it would be a huge mistake to leave their current situation.
Jason Smith: "They think they're gonna go to another conference and go 12-0. Florida State's a good program, but this is not a school that's gonna go to the SEC and suddenly be 12-0. You're going to the SEC or Big Ten to go 8-4... You're never gonna get to the playoff. You had the big advantage of playing in the worst of all the Power Five conferences... You've been the beneficiary of playing in the AFC East like Tom Brady did for the majority of his career, playing against a bunch of crappy teams and winning it every year and going to the playoffs. That's what Florida State has [and they're leaving it behind]."
