Carolina Panthers owner David Tepper was fined $300K by the NFL for throwing a drink in the direction of some fans during their loss to the Jaguars in Jacksonville on Sunday and Dan Patrick thinks that’s no punishment at all. His “apology” was nothing of the sort, and the fine amounts to pocket change for a guy with that much money. At the very least, he should have been suspended since he’s been an embarrassment to the league since he bought the team.
Dan Patrick: “You have to set an example here. This was embarrassing! You know, this guy’s been an embarrassment since he got into the league. He blows through coaches and quarterbacks, and other sports too! He doesn’t just, you know, fire people in the NFL. Don’t let him go to the game! Make him sit out!”
