Three iconic football coaches are no longer coaching for the teams that they made their fortunes with and Dan is exhausted by all the news. Seahawks HC Pete Carroll, Alabama HC Nick Saban, and Patriots HC Bill Belichick are all moving on despite being responsible for a combined ten Super Bowl appearances including seven wins, and nine college football National Championships. The last 24 hours have been a whirlwind and we’re still waiting to see what happens in the aftermath.
Dan Patrick: “It’s like you’re on a rollercoaster that doesn’t allow you to get off. 24 hours ago Mike Vrabel being fired by the Titans was a big deal. Then, all of a sudden, Seahawks politely move on from Pete Carroll. And then Nick Saban abruptly retires at Alabama. And then Bill Belichick and the Patriots decide to part ways earlier this morning...Whew, welcome to the show! That was generational yesterday.”
