Filling in for The Jason Smith Show with Mike Harmon, Martin Weiss and Veejay Huskey talk about how the Pittsburgh Steelers trading Kenny Pickett wasn't a surprise due to how the team treated Pickett when he came from injury last season.

Martin Weiss: “Kenny Pickett didn’t wanna compete against Russell Wilson, but the Pittsburgh Steelers were done with Kenny Pickett the moment he came back from injury and the team STILL decided to start not 1 BUT TWO different guys, Mitch Trubisky and Mason Rudolph instead.“
Veejay Huskey: "If Pickett didn’t wanna compete in Pittsburgh, what do you think you’re gonna do in Philadelphia? That’s Jalen Hurts job all the way. Pickett was in a better situation in Pittsburgh, because who knows how this Russell Wilson thing is gonna go, he could've been next man up."
