Rob Parker on reports that the Bears turned down better offers to send Justin Fields to a better situation for him: "Poppycock. I don't buy that at all. That sounds like spin. They held on to him too long and that was the best they could get for him. They didn't make up their minds early enough. All the other teams started getting quarterbacks, there was nowhere to go. It didn't make any sense. Do right by him for what?! Did you not pay him when he was there? Did he win a Super Bowl that I forgot about? What did they owe him?!"
