Nick Koop joined FOX Sports Radio as an update anchor in August 2022. He has worked as a sports broadcaster for over a decade, dating back to when he attended Boston University, where he was the sports director of the student radio station.
Koop currently works as a play-by-play commentator and host at UCLA, UC Riverside and Pac-12 Network. He calls a variety of sports at UCLA, including serving as the voice of Bruin Baseball. He also hosts the UCLA Football pregame show and the weekly Bruin Insider Show on AM 570 LA Sports. At UC Riverside, he calls basketball games for ESPN+.
In 2019, his call of Kyle Philips' punt return touchdown during UCLA's 32-point comeback against Washington State was voted “Call of the Year” by the Southern California Sports Broadcasters.
