The NFL continues to steal the headlines as it has announced more rule changes, a couple of Christmas Day games, and more international games for next season. They continue to try to keep their games exciting, they’re challenging the NBA for dominance on Christmas Day, and they’re building fan bases literally around the world, and now Shohei Ohtani and Jontay Porter are no longer the leading stories because the NFL is king. It’s survival of the fittest and the NFL is the apex predator in today’s sports landscape.
Dan Patrick: “The NFL making news as they always do. It doesn’t matter; whenever they want to, they can knock anybody out of the headlines…I did find some people on social media, that they were appalled that this is what the NFL is doing. OK, you gonna still watch? Yeah, I thought you would. Or you get this, ‘Oh the NFL, c’mon, two games on Christmas Day? That’s too much!’ You gonna watch? ‘Yeah but, you know I feel bad for the NBA.’ OK. You can flip around. It’s survival of the fittest, that’s what this is. The NFL is taking over the world.”
