Doug Gottlieb: "You're LeBron James, you're a gigantic brand. You've got one more bite at the apple. It's really unlikely that you can win a championship. But in order to win a championship, LeBron has to be completely on board. There has to be a vision that's shared, and somebody else has to want to play with LeBron, AD, and the rest of the Lakers. And you have to have just the right guy and just the right mix. You have to thread that needle tight. I personally believe that Ty Lue should be the choice. And if Ty Lue is not available, then I have no problem with JJ Redick. To the point that he's never coached before, I get it, I understand it. I'm just telling you that the reality of it is NBA guys don't care. You absolutely know who should be in, who should be out."

Doug Gottlieb reacts to the Lakers firing Head Coach Darvin Ham. Doug breaks down why LeBron James absolutely should have a say in the next Lakers head coach, as James needs to fully buy in to however the new coach chooses to use him in his final years in order to maximize the potential of him winning one more ring. Doug explains why former NBA shooting guard and current analyst JJ Redick is a viable option to be hired if the Clippers do not part ways with Tyronn Lue.
