Patrick Beverley's Punishment Doesn't Fit His Crime

Milwaukee Bucks G Patrick Beverley received a 4-game suspension for repeatedly throwing a ball at a fan in stands and his “inappropriate interaction” with a reporter after their Game 6 loss to the Indiana Pacers in their 1st round series. Doug thinks the punishment is way too light considering his history of poor behavior and the fact that if the opposite happened and a fan had thrown anything at a player, that fan would be banned for life.

Doug Gottlieb: “If a fan threw a ball at a player, the fan would be immediately ejected and never allowed back in...Even more so, you can’t throw a ball at a fan! And Adam Silver allows that to happen. They set a precedent today.”
