Bronny James Staying in the NBA Draft Is a Mistake

placeholder image

Bronny James will be remaining in the upcoming NBA Draft and Doug Gottlieb thinks it’s a poor decision. Bronny has the opportunity to actually play in college where he’ll get more reps than he will in the NBA considering he’ll probably spend most, if not all of his first NBA season in the G-League hoping for a call-up so he can get on the court with His father LeBron. He may still have a decent NBA career, but he could really use more development before he makes that jump.

Doug Gottlieb: “I thinks it’s a mistake...I just think in terms of individual decisions the best one would have been to go play for Duquesne, go get a ton of reps, succeed some, fail some, succeed mostly again. And instead now, it’s going to be probably G-League and then hoping for the occasional call-up to (play) with your dad.”
