Xavien Howard Shared 'Revenge Porn' With the Victim's Minor Son: Lawsuit

Free agent former All-Pro cornerback Xavien Howard is accused of sharing "revenge porn" of women during a two-year period, which allegedly included sending the sexual images of one victim to her minor son, according to court documents obtained by Local 10 News.

Howard, 30, who spent his entire career with the Miami Dolphins, was named in a lawsuit filed by the victim and her son, identified as Jane and John Doe, in Broward County, Florida, in May. Jane Doe accused Howard of taking photos and videos of her performing sexual acts without her consent and sending them to her son, John Doe, who was a minor at the time, in September 2022.

The victim claims Howard allegedly shared the photos and videos "to humiliate them and cause emotional distress," the lawsuit states. Jane Doe said she and Howard were "sexually involved" at one point but she "spurned his advances," at which point he shared the "sexually explicit photos and videos without her consent."

“We know he (Howard) sent these to different people, and we don’t know how many people he sent these to,” said Adriana Alcalde, an attorney representing Jane Doe.

Both accusers chose to remain anonymous as they don't wish any harm to Howard, but want him to stop sharing the private photos, having previously sent the then-Dolphins cornerback a cease-and-desist letter in 2022, at which point he allegedly continued sending or publishing the content. Jane Doe is seeking more than $50,000 in damages, according to court documents.

Howard was selected by the Dolphins at No. 38 overall in the second-round of the 2016 NFL Draft. The former Baylor University standout was a first-team All-Pro in 2020, a second-team All-Pro in 2018, a four-time Pro Bowl selection (2018, 2020-22) and led the NFL in interceptions during the 2018 and 2020 seasons.
