Chris Broussard: Rodgers Missing Mandatory Minicamp Is a Terrible Look

Chris Broussard and Rob Parker react to the news that New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers missed the team's first day of mandatory minicamp with an unexcused absence. Chris thinks this is a terrible look and sets a bad tone for the rest of the year.

Chris Broussard: "I have tried to believe in Aaron Rodgers with the Jets, but I'm sorry... for Rodgers not to not show up today with an unexcused absence for the first mandatory workout of the season is selfish and hypocritical... If it were a family matter, he'd be excused. If it were a health issue, he'd be excused. Aaron Rodgers was the one who got on his soapbox a few months ago and talked about how the Jets need to get rid of the distractions. And yet on the first day of mandatory workouts, you're not there with an unexcused absence... [He] put whatever it is he's doing ahead of football, and I think it sets a bad tone for the season."
