Hall of Fame player, executive, and NBA logo, Jerry West passed away this morning at the age of 86 and Dan Patrick is clearly overwhelmed. He gets choked up as he remembers his friend and idol, and shares his impressions of this legendary figure in the world of basketball. He knows Jerry would be mad at him for being so emotional but he just can’t hold back his sorrow.
Dan Patrick: “He’d be mad at me if I was emotional. He’d be like, ‘What are you crying about?’ But, umm, this is tough...He might be the most impactful person in the history of the NBA.”
