Could the Dallas Mavericks Draft Bronny James?

With the NBA Draft coming up next week, Dan Patrick speculates on the possibilities for Bronny James and by extension, his father LeBron. To be clear, he has no inside information, no sources, and is only engaging in what should be considered complete speculation, but Bronny, LeBron and Kyrie Irving teaming up in Dallas makes sense, as crazy as it sounds.

Dan Patrick: “Let me just throw this out there, and I don’t know if it’s going to stick, I don’t know if it matters. I don’t have any inside news sources with this or sources close to sources; LeBron wants to play with Kyrie (Irving) again and probably Kyrie wants to play with LeBron. Let’s say Dallas drafted Bronny James. Once again, you got the GM, OK; the GM is like an uncle to Bronny. LeBron, Kyrie. So they draft him. LeBron opts out, becomes a free agent and then says to the Dallas Mavericks, ‘What do you want to pay me? I’ll come in.’ I know, sounds crazy, right? But it’s not crazy.”
