A Summer of L’s for the Lakers

Dan Beyer & Aaron Torres are in for Doug Gottlieb today and they wonder if the Los Angeles Lakers are going to get involved in signing any free agents considering some big name players are already negotiating contracts with other NBA teams now that the free agency period has opened. After being denied by Dan Hurley for their head coaching vacancy, they desperately need to make some improvements before all the available talent disappears.

Aaron Torres: “What does it say about the Lakers? Because this has been, if we’re being honest, kind of been a summer of L’s for the Lakers...”

Dan Beyer: “All the names that you thought that they were going to get...have now decided to go elsewhere.”
