After much ado, Bronny James finally made his professional debut for the Lakers in the Summer League and Coach Doug Gottlieb brings his unparalleled basketball acumen to bear as he dissects Bronny’s performance. So far, according to Coach Gottlieb, Bronny is just another guy who’s trying to break into the league and didn’t show any real desire to run the point or take a leadership role.
Doug Gottlieb: “The actual analysis from Coach Gottlieb is: I don’t see any sort of desire to be, at either end of the floor, a point guard or lead guard; just kind of wants to stand over in the corner and if the ball is thrown up to him, try and go get a bucket.”
