Dan Beyer & Aaron Torres are filling in for Doug Gottlieb today on The Doug Gottlieb Show and they are reacting to a recent article ranking current QB’s according to NFL scouts and GM’s. It’s hard to believe that despite 2 MVP awards, including one from last season, Lamar Jackson is only ranked 4th on the list. Dan and Aaron consider what more they guy has to do to pass a couple of guys with neither Super Bowl rings nor MVP’s of their own.
Dan Beyer: “What hit my eyes and ears the most when I saw these rankings were that after an MVP season, and a season where they were the best team in the AFC, is that Lamar Jackson is at #4...I don’t know if he should be higher and I don’t know if he should be lower!”
Aaron Torres: “The narratives on Lamar, they swing just too far one direction then the other...”
