Back to back NCAA Champion, UConn Head Men’s Basketball Coach Dan Hurley joins the Dan Patrick Show and comes clean about exactly why he declined the Los Angeles Lakers head coaching position. He details some of the discussions he had with his wife and how his faith and family are the driving forces in his life. It was a tough decision but his roots as an east coast kid definitely influenced his decision.
Dan Hurley: “Just being a guy from Jersey and just knowing how comfortable you are, how happy you are, just, your life couldn’t be better, why would you mess with that at this point? But, it was tough. It was tough.”
